Susan Slevin Art Psychotherapy MA
Susan is an Art Psychotherapist MA in private practice working with individuals and groups at the Granary Mill Therapy Clinic in Galway city.
Social Art Ireland came into being as a platform for Susan and other Art Therapists to promote, educate and inform the public about the benefits of creativity for self- reflection, and as an effective therapeutic intervention.
Susan also facilitates an "Art Talk's" workshops for positive mental health through expressive arts.
Her passion is supporting people who are finding life challenging through the use of the creative process. The images created in therapy become a visual aid to explore, and assist in understanding and resolving the client's issues.
Susan’s work experience in the Social Services includes learning disability, children in care, hospice, elementary schools, and community mental health clinic. Further studies are Enneagram, Gestalt, NLP, Somatic Trauma Training, Safe Talk, Hearing Voices, and Bereavement Support.
Susan is originally from Ontario, Canada.While traveling in Ireland she met her husband and settled in the west of Ireland and raised a family of four daughters.

Margaret Curran is an Art Therapist MA (Hons), Shamanic Practitioner, Maastricht Interviewer (Recognised by International Hearing Voices Network ), Dip Colour counseling, Dip Transformational Therapy, Dip Community Development, Cert Arts and Empowerment, BA (Hons) Phil/Soc. Introductory Training in’ Open Dialogue’ and Speaker at the annual Cork University Critical Perspectives Conference.
Margaret is part of a global network of Practitioners raising awareness and working towards a new paradigm of consciousness in health, one that views all human experience (however extreme) as valid, meaningful and potentially transformative. She sees the creative process as a medicinal channel of exploration, understanding, acceptance, and healing. It is non-coercive, non-toxic, life-affirming and accessible to all.

Teresa Mulholland holds a First Class Honours MA in Art Therapy, and a Professional Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy. She also holds a Post-Grad Cert in Gestalt Psychotherapy & in Play Therapy (Child & Adolescent).
Teresa has trained with the Rocky Mountain Institute (Canada) in Sandplay Therapy. Teresa is an accredited member of IACP Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy), and IACAT (Irish Association of Creative Art Therapy).
She has RCNI specialized training in trauma work, including sexual violence and child sexual abuse. Teresa has worked for 15 years as a therapist with experience in sexual violence/abuse, domestic violence, acute psychiatry, addiction, palliative care, homelessness, special needs, school completion projects, minority groups & asylum seekers/torture survivors, and has worked with all age groups. She is based in Galway city centre.
